The Creator of all things seen and unseen put forth His Word – His standard – and the ungrateful men of the world, who owe their very existences to the King of Eternity, wax worse and worse in their callous disobedience. God’s judgment concerning their rebellion? Jer. 9:9 Shall I not visit them for these things? saith the LORD: shall not my soul be avenged on such a nation as this?
